The Anglers Rest

In 2023, The Anglers Rest celebrated ten years of community ownership, having been purchased from the previous owners, Admiral Taverns.  In early 2025 the pub changed to a tenanted model of management under local landlord Rick Ellison and Atlantik Inns. After a difficult start, the new management team have seen a signifant rise in popularity and demand for their good food and real ales.

 

Bamford Community Arts and Crafts have agreed to work with The Anglers Rest to work together to promote a wide range of events, starting with the reintroduction of the popular Spotlight Nights in June.

First Sunday 6pm - Roots Night

Third Sunday 7.30pm - Folk Night

Every Wednesday 8.30pm - Quiz Night 

First Thursday 8pm - Spotlight Night

Third Thursday 8pm - Vinyl Night
