20 April 2026     Bamford Creative Writers Group will be taking a break for the summer after our meeting on June 5th, returning again on Friday 18th September. New members are always welcome, and it's free. After the short summer break, we hope to have our meetings in The Anglers Rest (snug), usually on the first Friday each month 10.00am - 11.30am.

If you're more of a reader rather than writer, the Open House at Hathersage have 'Silent Book Club from 7pm - 9pm on the last Thursday of the month.

The next planned Open Meeting to discuss the Steel Cotton Music Project is planned for Thursday June 18th at the Cheshire Ring pub, near to Hyde Station. We have had two meetings so far at the Rambler, Edale and we have two more in the pipeline at Bamford and Hathersage.
